We built Session Recordings so you learn how visitors use your site without collecting what they type.
Typing is masked at the source
Anything a visitor types into your site is replaced with asterisks in their browser, before the recording is sent. The exception is the words submitted in your store's search box, which are shown so you can see what people look for.
It follows your cookie banner
Recording only happens for visitors whose cookie choices allow analytics. If a visitor declines, they aren't recorded.
Kept only as long as needed
Replays are deleted automatically after your plan's retention period: 30 days on Free, 90 days on Plus, 12 months on Pro. Star a replay to keep it; everything else is deleted on schedule, and we'll delete any recording sooner on request. More in how long to keep session recordings.
Tell your visitors
