Wix Analytics' Session Recordings, TWIPLA, or a separate free app?
Wix Analytics has a Session Recordings feature of its own, run by TWIPLA. Wix says you must upgrade your site to add it, and its free tier records 3 new sessions a month1. TWIPLA, called Visitor Analytics until 20232, also has a full analytics app in the Wix App Market3. Session Recordings by myuser.ai is a third option: a separate app with a similar name, free forever for 2,000 recordings a month.

Three products, two names
It's easy to mix these up. Wix Analytics' Session Recordings is a feature you add from Analytics in your dashboard, and Wix's help center sends support questions about it to TWIPLA1. The TWIPLA app is a separate, wider analytics app in the Wix App Market3, and Wix says a TWIPLA app user still needs a Session Recordings plan for recordings in Wix Analytics1. Session Recordings by myuser.ai, the app this site is about, is a third app, made by myuser.ai rather than by Wix or TWIPLA.
TWIPLA used to go by another name: on October 3, 2023 it announced the rebranding of Visitor Analytics to TWIPLA, short for Website Intelligence Platform2, and its Wix App Market listing, now titled TWIPLA Website Intelligence, still has visitor-analytics in its address3. We checked both on October 6, 2026.
Plans and recording limits
Wix's article says you must upgrade your site to add Session Recordings, and lists plans of 3, 500, 2,000 and 10,000 new recordings a month, with recordings saved for up to 36 months1. It doesn't list prices. The TWIPLA app's listing prices its plans by tracked page visits, from 400 on Free to 250,000 on Advanced at $17.99 a month, and doesn't say how many recordings each includes3. TWIPLA's own pricing page gives recording numbers for other platforms and says plans for Wix users may differ6. Session Recordings counts recordings and is free forever: 2,000 a month, each kept 30 days. At 2,000, recording pauses until the 1st of next month, with no charge.
Finding the visits that matter
TWIPLA says Wix Analytics' recordings come with pre-set filters: for example, visitors who added items to their cart but didn't check out, or who went from one page to another but not on to a third4. Session Recordings' Showing menu lists Viewed a product and Added to cart, but on Wix sites those stay empty for now, so it can't yet pick out visits like TWIPLA's examples. It lists every visit newest first, marks the ones you haven't watched, lets you star the ones worth keeping, and lists each replay's clicks and masked typing beside it so you can jump straight to them.
Privacy and consent
TWIPLA's listing says its tracking is cookieless and privacy-compliant by default3. Its own site adds that the three lower privacy modes use fingerprinting and need visitor consent, while the default Maximum Privacy mode doesn't5, and that in Maximum Privacy recordings run for every visitor with no banner needed7. Wix's setup article notes that Maximum Privacy disables most site data insights, and that recordings may be missing when visitors refuse cookies1.
Session Recordings takes the simpler route: with a cookie banner, it records only visitors whose cookie choices allow analytics, and with no banner it doesn't wait for consent, recording every visitor who clicks, taps or types. Either way, it masks everything visitors type in their browser before the recording is sent.

No. Wix Analytics' Session Recordings is a Wix feature, powered by TWIPLA, that you add after upgrading your site. Session Recordings by myuser.ai is a separate app, free forever, made by a different company, and you add it from the Wix App Market.
Is TWIPLA the same as Visitor Analytics?
Yes. TWIPLA's press release of October 3, 2023 announced the rebranding of Visitor Analytics to TWIPLA, short for Website Intelligence Platform, and its Wix App Market listing, now titled TWIPLA Website Intelligence, still has visitor-analytics in its address. Why aren't my Wix session recordings showing?
In Wix Analytics' Session Recordings, Wix says some sessions aren't recorded when visitors use private browsers or refuse cookies, or once you reach the month's limit. Is TWIPLA cookieless?
TWIPLA says its tracking is cookieless by default. Its own site adds that its lower privacy modes use fingerprinting and need visitor consent, while the default Maximum Privacy mode doesn't.
Can I use TWIPLA and Session Recordings together?
Yes. They're separate apps, and each records under its own settings, so a visitor can be recorded by both. Name both in your privacy notice; our privacy notice template has a preset for several tools at once.
